The Tale of the Tamers of Rahab
The Tamers hailed from every land
There was the well greaved one and the pretty man
The shining knight in purest white
The amused thief who stayed out of sight
And the humble healer and the dark man
The first of them was very well greaved
He loved to tell tales beyond belief
In trade for olives, opium he'd gladly receive
A gifted man, omens he would perceive
And advise the group when to take leave
There was also the pretty man from Dtai
His black robes trimmed in red splendid to the eye
Rumor of his arrogance is certainly no lie
At the mercy of his spells his enemies did die
Among them also a shining knight
Noticeably armored in the purest white
Always in manner decorously upright
With wings spread she could take flight
Squirrel and man she did smite
One other of the group was prone to steal
For her it was easy to take a mage's gil
Among her loot was also a dragon's scale
But when tables were turned she could not deal
And drowned her sorrow with rice wine in zeal
Also with the company, a healer meek
She tried her hardest to heal the weak
Never was it known what she did seek
She was afraid at every sound and creak
Because she was threatened by a dangerous freak
With them also the ill-fated dark man
For amongst nobles his dagger did land
So punishment would take more than a hand
But for the power of the nondescript man
