Kohn

Kohn has the highest literacy rate in the known world. This empire is dedicated to learning and scholarly pursuits. Their many peasants are often able to write their names and simple words. This empire is quite prosperous, but constantly harassed by the Oalien and the barbarian tribes. Curiously, the people of Kohn do not have a religion as such; they instead follow the teachings of old philosophers, ancestral worship, and some weird mystical traditions.
