This piece contains three light fixture with red, green, and blue bulbs and is designed to be hung from the ceiling. When left untouched the bulbs flash in unison with minimal brightness. As a foam ball is squeezed
the length of time the corresponding bulb is on increases and in turn the brightness increases. By varying
the amount that all three balls are squeezed the entire spectrum of colors can be produced. This is observed
in a dark room where there is interplay between the colored light and objects that cast shadows.
Thies piece was contructed using a Netmedia BX-24 chip to control three AC relays based on the flexing of
three flexible potentiometer strips. Additional materials included porceline ceiling fixtures and foam stress balls.
