"Um okay, but what does transubstantiation mean to Dan and Neel?"

To Dan and Neel transubstantiation means much more than both Merriam and Webster could ever know. It is a happening of religious and spiritual nature with long-reaching effects. Dan and Neel may never truly know its impact on their lives as it is often hard to have that kind of perspective on a life-changing event.

What they do know is that they will never again enjoy the sweet, sweet taste of Nestea Iced Tea or Evian (their respective shopping refreshments) from the fridge so well placed at the entrance of Stop and Shop. Nor will they again enjoy the eats and snacks they visited on their final store tour.

"How very sad. Should I weep for Dan and Neel?"

Do not weep for Dan and Neel as they have found new adventures and new lives in this new place called Safeway. It may not have "all the ingredients" but it does have garlic, pasta, and Prego -- the staples of life. It even has new treats to be enjoyed, such as freshly baked bread. It has all that they need in a 24hr discount grocery store and that is what's important. As long as one can move on and call a new grocery store his home then one must not fear the future. We wish you well in your shopping experiences and we hope that you enjoy your grocery store as much as we have enjoyed ours.
