Perhaps no product among the thousands stocked by Stop and Shop touched our lives quite the way the Woven Wheats did. I'm getting a little teary now, just remembering the day when we first discovered that Stop and Shop had dared go where no generic food producer had gone before: generic Triscuits. Yet, unlike Triscuits, Woven Wheats can provide all the carbohydrates necessary to sustain life for months at a time, often for under three dollars for each large, delicious box. But nutrition alone does not being greatness to a food product. When we purchased our Woven Wheats each week, we purchased a little bit of family. Who can forget gatherings by the Techhouse fire, packing in the stale Woven Wheats down to the very last woven crumb? It is a great tribute to this product that it is the only SnS product that we had shipped to California for our Woven enjoyment. And we're still enjoying them to this day.
